Know your Path…which (ends in Grace and) never incurs wrath

One afternoon in the month of Ramadan, temperature soared over 46°C so fasting got exponentially tougher. It was lunch time, thirst was straining my nerves, and for a moment I thought I am doing better with the service of Fasting. I took a break from work and started reciting Qur’an. My friends, out of curiosity, asked me to share what I was reading. I chose the first Surah of Qur’an i.e. Surah Al-Fatiha ( The Opening) to explain. I am definitely not an expert in this domain but I tried my best to make them understand in simple words what this Prayer means to us as Muslims. Then, when I reached to the last verses,

“Guide us to the straight Path; the Path of those on whom You have bestowed favour, not of those who have evoked (Your) anger or of those who are astray”.
Surah Al-Fatiha: Verses 6-7
