My heart has been aching for days..my fingers trembling to write…words! Words are not enough to express what has been happening in the world. The burden I feel on my soul is so huge, and I find no way to alleviate this pain, anguish, and disappointment within me.

The massacre of thousands of children-whether unborn, 1 day old, under or over a year, every age group; these are not just numbers, these are precious human lives. Every life is invaluable, but witnessing the indiscriminate killing of children reveals the darkest depths to which humanity can plummet.

I try to close my eyes to shield myself from the horrors, refrain from scrolling through distressing news, and divert my thoughts elsewhere, but my heart continually returns to the tragedy. We will forget these atrocities, may be not today, not tomorrow but very soon and of course eventually. However, I believe the guilt and fear will forever linger within us, knowing that such cruelties transpired in our time, in an era supposedly marked by so-called progress and humanitarian values.

Nothing else, no religion, no prejudice, no past, no experience, no knowledge is needed. Stand against injustice, strive to end this oppression – all it takes is a speck of humanity within us!
